THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
 The
captain is pro catch and release. The
emphasis on all trips is to have a great
time enjoying the water, catching,
releasing, and preserving for the future.
All
trips are with artificial lures only.
The
captain does not do “meat runs” and strongly
promotes catch and release trips. If the
client would like to keep a few fish for
dinner, that is never a problem; however,
all trout over 20” are released to fight
another day. Trophy trout may be retained if
the client wishes to wall mount the fish,
but fiberglass replicas are a great option
and strongly encouraged.
The
primary method of fishing is wade fishing;
however, drift/boat fishing is utilized when
the conditions and fish call for it.
Lures
are always available, but feel free to bring
your own, and what
you have the most confidence in.
“Spinning”
reel/rod can be provided to wade
fisherman. Baitcasters are
not provided for wade fishing;
however, they can be provided if
fishing from the boat." Again,
bring what you feel comfortable
with using, as long as it is in
good operating order. Regardless
of which style of reel you may
bring, the captain recommends a
good braided line of 30# test,
equivalent to an 8# mono
diameter.
GPS
units are not
welcomed on fishing trips.
The only time there is an
exception to this is if you are
chartering for “boating
navigation” and not a
fishing trip. |
